Earth Hour...wrong intentions

I know this Earth Hour is a recent thing, but I am getting fed up with the notion we should turn off our lights for an hour to acknowledge we humans are the cause of "climate change" and need to reduce our "carbon footprint". What a bunch of nonsense. Look, if Earth Hour was designed to say "hey, let's keep the lights off for an hour to acknowledge our part in being more economical with our environment" I'd say I'm all for it. However, for the fact we have a bunch of global-warming alarmist clowns parading the idea our future kids are going to melt in a searing earth we created by our "carbon footprint" if we don't do something like turn off the lights for an hour is just mind-boggling!
Let me make this plain and simple. The pollutants/chemicals we put in the atmosphere, in our homes, and then eventually these get into the food and water we put into our bodies will have a much more profound effect on the future of us and our kids long before the idea of global warming/climate change that is being shoved down your throats will ever come to pass. Because the reality is the influence of man-made global warming is much much smaller than what you are lead to believe, and there is plenty of proof to show this. If you take that opportunity to keep your lights off for an hour come march 29th @ 8:30pm then do it for the sake of reducing the pollutants in our environment, but please don't do this for the sake of stopping climate change/man-made global warming because it is just an untrue cause.
