Once again, forecasters from local TV stations are not going cool enough for temperatures this upcoming weekend all across the Upper Midwest, Midwest and Central Plains.
From Detroit, Cincinnati, Chicago, Kansas City, Minneapolis and all points in between, it is going to be a good taste of October autumn. Pretty much between Saturday thru Tuesday, expect the overall temperatures to be about 3-5F cooler for both the high and low by any of these TV stations.
I can see low temperatures dipping into the mid-40s for a couple of nights with even some pockets of 30s, especially when high pressure settles in later this weekend into early next week. The early part of the weekend will be cloudier (maybe rainy/drizzling) and keep high temperatures cooler than forecast (50s and 60s). By early next week there will be plenty of sunshine to warm the very cool starts to the day into the 60s and 70s.
